The Ganga has broken its highest recorded levels at three points at once. Across 15 districts, families have lost their homes, their crops and their cattle. Satvikdaan is mobilising relief for Bihar — your donation sends food, clean water and shelter to families who have nothing left.
SatvikDaan Charitable Trust Foundation is mobilising relief for the families of Bihar, where the worst flooding in decades has swallowed entire villages. The Ganga has broken its highest recorded levels at three points simultaneously, and with the Kosi, Gandak and Burhi Gandak all above their danger marks, families across fifteen districts have been left with nothing but the clothes they escaped in — no home to return to, no food stored, no clean water to drink.
What began as our commitment to feeding the hungry and supporting the vulnerable in Rajasthan has extended, in this moment of crisis, to the families of Bihar who need us most urgently. Embankments have breached and entire blocks are now reachable only by boat. Our relief effort is being prepared for dispatch — food, clean drinking water, and shelter essentials for families stranded on embankments and in cut-off villages.
The scale of this disaster is larger than any one organization can address alone. Every contribution helps us reach more families, faster — because disaster relief cannot wait for tomorrow. Your support today can be the reason a family in Bihar eats tonight.
